LOCKSIS was established in 2009 at Venture Center of Seoul National
University College of Engineering to commercialize DIY door lock which was
developed by outstanding individuals of Seoul National University College
of Engineering that is the country’s most prestigious university.
Electronic Touch Lever Lock developed by LOCKSIS received the grand prize
in Korea International Women’s Invention Exposition in 2010, and it proved
its technological power by 5 registered patents and 4 patent-pending.
Digital door lock’s penetration rate in Korean homes is about 60% due to its
security and convenience, and technology development is the best in the
world.
However, there are problems in installing at various doors or in relocation
since installation requires making holes on the door, which needs to be done
by professional technician.
Electronic Touch Lever Lock doesn’t require making holes on door, and
ordinary person is able to install Do It Yourself Type at steel, wood or chassis
door using a screwdriver only. And it has excellent durability and high
breaking strength since it is made of stainless steel material.
DIY Electronic Touch Lever Lock will surely raise the penetration rate of
digital door lock in many countries thanks to its durability and easy
installation on various doors.
